about

Thank you for listening to our debut album, "Supernatural!"
~Sancat

"Akron-based Sancat certainly doesn't adhere to any of the indie rock tendencies [...]Their music isn't particularly introspective; in fact, powerhouse singer Sandra Emmeline sounds extremely extroverted. With its operatic vocals and grandiose synthesizer flourishes, "Dreamweaver" come off as something like a cross between Muse and Meatloaf. The ballad "I Notice You" opts for a low-key approach, but it too has theatrical impulses. Give these guys credit for not sticking with the tried-and-true."

Sancat Akron, Ohio

Described as "intense" and "supernatural," Sancat spins songs about dreams, mystery, and all things mystical. They will take you through a world of fantasy and imagination with a mixture of dark and light, bitter and sweet. Heavy, aggressive riffs interweave with light, soaring melodies, laced around lyrics full of symbolism and emotion. Sancat's music expresses the darker shades of life's beauty. ... more
